Mayme Ida Nester of D'Hanis, Texas, passed away October 10, 2005, at the age of 89. She was born December 11, 1915, in D'Hanis, the daughter of Alfred Louis & Genoveva (Guly) Rudinger. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Oscar William Nester; daughter Marilyn Allen; grandson Jeff Allen, Infant daughter; sisters Lillian Lutz, Emma Nester. Mayme is survived by her daughter Bette L. Gilbert of Canyon Lake; granddaughters Cindy Allen of Moore, Suzanne Rios of Batesville, Stacey Comfort of Scotia, NY; grandson David Gilbert of Converse; great grandchildren Brandon Black, Ginger Black, Jaime Foss, Tessa Damopoulos, Bruce Martin, Nathan Esparza; great-granddaughter Mia; sisters Beulah Lutz of D'Hanis, Hettie Haby of Rio Medina. The Funeral Service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home, officiated by Fr. Wallis Stiles. The Pallbearers were Ed Benham, Juan Rios, Jim Nester, Gary Saathoff, Norman Lutz, Douglas Haby. Interment will follow at the Woodmen of the World Cemetery in D'Hanis.
