Michael Ray Moore of Sabinal, 71, passed away Friday, May 8, 2026, in Uvalde.
Born Nov. 29, 1954 in San Antonio, he was the son of Winfred Hampton Moore and Gloria Grace Whitfield Moore.
Michael was a devoted dad to his stepdaughter Valerie and a wonderful grandpa to Candace, Brittany and Ashley. He also helped raise nieces and nephews. He loved working puzzle books and enjoyed helping his brother-in-law with projects.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Leroy Crawford; sister, Vicki Lynn Santana; and brother, Jimmy Lee Crawford (Lilie Cunningham).
Surviving are his stepdaughter, Valerie Allen; grandchildren, Candace, Brittney and Ashley; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 22, at Sabinal Cemetery.
