Milton Marie "Sis" Leinweber passed away February 12, 2015. One of Sis' passions was teaching elementary school students in San Antonio, where she loved including the piano into her daily lessons. She also loved the Texas Longhorns and rooted for them enthusiastically. Sis was preceded in death by her parents, Nettie Holder and Charles Milton; her husband, Elmer Joe Leinweber; her sisters, Jeannette Merritt Sanders and Bill Merritt Brown; and her nephew, George Richmond. She is survived by her niece, Bettie Sanders Richmond; her nephew, Fredrick Anderson Sanders and wife Jeannie; her great nieces Jennifer Nicole Sanders and Miranda Green; her great nephew, George Merritt Richmond Jr. and wife Pamela; her great niece, Susan Richmond Hall and husband Mark; Joe's children Wm. Kurt Leinweber and wife Shelly, Lynn L. Dodd and husband Steve, and Kay B. Helton and husband Jack; and many great-great nieces and nephews. A Graveside service will be held Saturday, February 14 at 10 a.m. at the Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
