Moises Reyes of Hondo passed away Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, at the age of 80.

Born Apr. 7, 1939, in Uvalde, he was the son of Moises G. and Isabel Flores Reyes.

He is preceded in death by his wife Lydia Hinojosa Reyes, his parents and his brother,  Ruben Reyes.

He is survived by his daughters, Marisa Reyes and husband Byron Gutierrez of Lake Balboa CA, Maricela Reyes and husband Tom Collins of San Antonio and Marisol Reyes Razo and husband Tony Razo of Sierra Vista AZ; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and sisters, Odelia Garcia of Uvalde, Olga Estrada of Seattle WA and Olivia Canales of Bryan.

There will be a Rosary at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Thursday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hondo at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11.  Interment will follow in the Uvalde Cemetery, Catholic Section.
