Nancee Josephine Petreman, age 69, of Kyle, formerly of Hondo, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018. Nancee was born on July 11, 1949, and reared in Whittier CA. She attended LaSerna High School and graduated from there in 1967. She was a stay-at-home mom, and later went on to be an entrepreneur with her husband of 30 years. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Kreger; grandson, Brian Kreger Jr.; husband, Robert Petreman; sister, Meredith Denzel; and her parents, Robert Joseph Simmons and Lois Mae Wilming Simmons. Nancee is survived by her two daughters, Tricia Staunton of Smiley and Shelly Staunton of New Braunfels; six grandchildren, Matthew Doty, Joshua Solesbee, David Solesbee, Daniel Staunton, Miranda Carroll and Noah Staunton-Satterfield; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother, Greg Simmons. She was laid to rest beside her daughter at a private service on Monday, Sept. 24, at Hondo Cemetery, St. John's Section.
