Neva Elvira Dean of D'Hanis, Texas, passed away May 12, 2004, at the age of 93 years, 6 months, 9 days. Neva was born on November 3, 1910, to Walter Grey & Patricia Mary (Riley) Silvers near Tarpley, Texas. She was preceded by her parents; husband: Lewis Hope Dean, sons: Glenn Dean, L. H. Dean, Jr., Jerry Dean; son-in-law: Clyde Lutz, grandsons: Steven Lutz, Michael Dean. She is survived by Daughters: Betty Zerr and husband Maurice, Ann Lutz and husband Paul, Joyce Gray and husband James all of Hondo, Susan Manago of Garden Grove, CA; sons: Bill Dean and wife Barbara of Childress, Don Dean and wife Barbara of Cedar Hill; daughter-in-laws: Leora Dean of Cedar Park, Diane Cooper of Venus; 21 granchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren; sisters: Marie Voight and husband Harvey of Taylor, Inez Cottle of Houston, Bernice Cottle and husband Carroll of Rocksprings. The Visitation will be from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm Friday May 14, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Saturday May 15, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Tarpley Cemetery.
