Norman Lee McBee, 62, of Hondo passed away Friday, April 29, 2016. Born July 31, 1953, in Brady, he was the son of Norman Frank "Buck" and Nila Mae Edwards McBee. Norman owned and operated McBee's BBQ in Hondo for more than 20 years. He loved fishing, ranching, family, friends and his granddaughter. He is preceded in death by his father. Norman is survived by his mother, Nila McBee of Brady; daughter, Gayla Jeane McBee of Hondo; son, Ryan Blake McBee of Hilton Head SC; loving partner, Dorothy Floerke; two grandchildren, Isabella and Tatum McBee; sister, Vickie (Kenneth) Adams of Winchell; brother, Johnny (Janna) McBee of San Angelo; niece, Brooke Adams; nephews, Cooper, Chaney and Trevor McBee; his children's mother, Barbara (Keith) White; and extended family. A memorial celebration will be from 3 p.m. to ?, Saturday, May 7, at his home. The family suggests memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
