Normand Joseph Coulombe of Hondo TX, 77, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019.

Born July 4, 1942, in Nashua NH, he was the son of Alfred and Alfredine Bernier Coulombe, who precede him in death.

Normand attended Sacred Heart School in Nashua. He served in the National Guard and spent nine months at Ft. Bragg NC during the Berlin Crisis. He worked 21 years at the Anheuser Busch brewery.

He had a great sense of humor, loved to travel, and enjoyed going for rides. Often he would hop in the car and say, "Let's go for a ride to Vermont," or wherever.

He and Janet had just celebrated 58 years of marriage on Sept. 9.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Rachel Lavoie Coulombe of Hondo; sons, David Coulombe of Nashua NH and Norman Coulombe Jr. of Oklee MN; daughters, Theresa (David) Decelle of Nashua NH and Deborah (Robert) LaFrance of Hudson NH; five grandchildren, Megan and Brittney Decelle, Amanda and Nicloe LaFrance and Joshua Coulombe; and sister, Gertrude Cardinal of Florida.
