Olga Edilia (Garza) Flores, age 85, of D'Hanis passed away April 3, 2009. She was born in Mexico Oct. 11, 1923, the daughter of Carlos and Frances (Villarreal) Garza. She married Thomas Flores Sr. and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Survivors are her sons, Thomas Flores Jr. and wife Lori of Florida and Andres Flores and wife Patti of D'Hanis; daughter, Alejandra Romero and husband Rommel of Stafford, VA; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Elia Bocanna of Wisconsin. Rosary, followed by the Funeral Mass, was held Tuesday, April 4, 10 a.m., at Holy Cross Catholic Church in D'Hanis, with Fr. Wallis J. Stiles officiating. Pallbearers were Andy Flores Jr., Roland Flores, J. Michael Silva, Daniel Silva, Bobby Silva, and Jason Henderson. Interment was at San Francisco Cemetery, D'Hanis.
