Oscar Otto Grell, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, at the age of 92. He was born in Hondo, TX on September 10, 1912. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. "Karl" and Leonora Katharina Marquis Grell; and daughter-in-law, Jerrilyn Dawn Grell, sister Amanda Bohlen, Alma Anna Reus; brothers Anton Grell, Arthur Grell, Edwin Karl Grell, Walter Grell. Survivors included his son, Kenneth Grell; granddaughters, Kim Freehauf and husband Mike, and their children Kyle, Colby and Taylor all of Hondo; Kristi Albin and husband Ken of San Antonio; grandson, Kirk Grell and wife Vicki, and their children Sarah, Rebekah and Isaac all of of Mckinney. The visitation is scheduled from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, Aug. 29, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, Aug. 30, at the New Fountain United Methodist Church with burial in Hondo Cemetery. The casket carriers were Mike Freehauf, Kyle Freehauf, Colby Freehauf, Kenneth O. Albin, and Kirk Grell, Bob Griffin.
