Pablo Y. Barrientes of Hondo, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 14, 2007, at the age of 52. He was born in Hondo, Texas, November 14, 1954, the son of Jesus H. & Ramona (Ybarra) Barrientes. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Joe Y. Barrientes. Pablo is survived by brother, Orsenio Barrientes of Hondo; sisters, Eva Guedea of Hondo, Esther Turruviate of San Antonio, Sylvia B. Garza and husband Luis David of Hondo; brothers, Jessi Barrientes of Hondo, Ernest Barrientes and wife Yvette of Hondo. The Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday April 17, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home and the Funeral Mass, will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday April 18, at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. The pallbearers were Joel Correa, Jose A. "Porky" Ytuarte, Raul A. DeHoyos, II, Andrew Trinidad, David Cuellar, Tiko Hernandez. Honorary pallbearer was Joe M. Alcaraz. Burial will follow at the Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
