Patricia Lou Boettcher, age 69, of Dunlay, TX, passed away Monday, June 28, 2010. She was born Jan. 12, 1941, in Tom Green County, San Angelo. She married Eddie Robert Boettcher on Sept. 20, 1961, and they were married for 48 years. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents Frank W. Taylor and Maggie Norton Taylor, formerly of Wetmore; her brother, Frank W. Taylor Jr. formerly of Spring Branch. Patricia is survived by her husband, Eddie R. Boettcher of Dunlay; her oldest son, Darryl S. Boettcher of Carrizo Springs; her youngest son, Robert W. Boettcher and wife Erica of Clarksville, TN; her two sisters, Louise Krause and Jane Chappell, both of New Braunfels; and eight grandchildren: Cody and Jake Boettcher of Hondo, TX; and Robert, Taylor, Micaela, Amber, Audrey, and Alyssa of Clarksville, TN. Patricia retired from East Medina County Special Utility District in 2006 after 24 years of service. She has been a faithful member of the New Fountain United Methodist Church since 1967. Serving as a lay-leader, teacher and minister, Patricia has faithfully served the Lord Jesus Christ at New Fountain for over 43 years. Visitation will be Thursday, July 1, 5:30 to 7 p.m., at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home, Hondo. Funeral service will be held at New Fountain United Methodist Church, FM 2676, Hondo, Friday, July 2, at 11 a.m. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
