Paul Anthony Corona of Hondo, 44, passed away Friday, Feb. 28, 2020.

Born Oct. 8, 1975, in Hondo, he was the son of Juan and Nelda Velasquez Corona.

Paul was a 1994 graduate of Hondo High School. A beloved, son and brother, he was an avid cook, hunter, fisherman, and pit master.

He is survived by his father, Juan Corona; mother, Nelda Gonzales; stepfather, Oscar Gonzales; brothers, Manny Corona and Christopher Gonzales; and aunts, Josie Corona, Martha Toles and Yolanda Ybarra, all of Hondo.

Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, Mar. 3, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Guinn-Horger Chapel. Private interment will be at a later date.

The family suggests memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
