Pauline "Paula" Garza of San Antonio, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 2, 2006, at the age of 62. She was born in Hondo, Texas, June 30, 1944, the daughter of Santiago & Ysidra (Tambunga) Sanchez. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother Valeriano Sanchez; and an infant sister. Paula is survived by her husband Mauro Rendon Garza; daughters Silvia S. Munoz and husband Manuel A., Stella Siller, Sandra Garza and companion Guy Fuller all of San Antonio; sons Santiago Garza, Mauricio Garza and wife Lisa Ramos all of San Antonio; seven grandchildren; brothers Santiago Sanchez, Jr. an wife Evangelina Sanchez of San Antonio, Jose Angel Sanchez and wife Martha of Yancey. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be Saturday, October 7, 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hondo. The pallbearers were Manuel A. Muñoz, Adrian Sanchez, Henry F. Sandoval, Michael Sanchez, Mauricio Garza, Santiago Garza. Burial will follow at the Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section.
