Peggy Sue (Martin) Clark, age 52, of Uvalde lost her 10-year battle with cancer on Monday, Oct. 17, 2011. Born June 6, 1959, in Hondo, she was the daughter of Wilkes Otto and Lillian Annie (Bendele) Martin. She was a secretary for American Lumber Company in Uvalde. She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Lynn Ray Martin; stepdaughter, Branda Ann Clark; and good friends, Leroy White and Bill Waldrop. Peggy is survived by her husband, Robin Clark; son Jody Lynn Clark of Uvalde; stepson, Lukas Wayne Clark and wife Anna of Porter; grandson, Theodore Robin Clark of Porter; mother, Lillian Martin of Hondo; brothers, Bruce G. Martin and wife Patricia of Hondo, and Richard Martin and wife Jessica of San Antonio; and sister, Melinda Martin of Hondo. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday (today), at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel, with Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hondo. Interment will follow at Yancey Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Terry Crawford, Tony Rivera, Sonny Seewald, Shane Hearn, Jim Behrens, Alvaro Alvarez, Jim Bean and Henry Lutz. Honorary bearers will be current and retired members of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association Special Rangers, Uvalde County Sheriff¿½s Department, and Texas Parks and Wildlife Wardens.
