Preciliano Pedroza, age 77, of San Antonio passed away Friday, Aug. 12, 2011. He was born Jan. 5, 1934, a son of Jose L. and Macedonia (Santos) Pedrosa. He served in the U.S. Army and worked in civil service as an aircraft mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leon Pedrosa, Francisco Pedroza, Brigido Pedroza and Salome Pedroza; and sisters, Narcissa Gomez and Simona Castro Preciliano is survived by his wife, Eugenia (Moncada) Pedroza of San Antonio; son, Lawrence Pedroza of Hondo; daughters, Mickey Ramos and husband Arturo and Raquel Galindo and husband Jeff, all of San Antonio; grandchildren, Kenisha Pedroza, Kendrah, Arturo E. and Antonio Ramos, and Alex Galindo; and several nephews and nieces. Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug. 16, 6 to 8 p.m., with Rosary recited at 7 p.m., at the Guinn-Horger Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, Aug. 17, 11 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment will be at Yancey Cemetery.
