Prudencia "Pola" Lopez, Age 80 years, 4 month, and 10 days, of Hondo, Texas, died on Tuesday, September 7, 2004. She was born in Yancey, Texas on April 28, 1924, the daughter of Luis & Ysabel (Ramirez) Rodriguez. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Pedro R. Lopez; sister Antonia Sarabia; brothers Antonio Rodriguez, Simon Rodriguez. Pola is survived by her daughters Corina Luna and husband Tomas of Hondo, Ida Ann Ortiz of Hondo; grandchildren Sonya Luna, Joseph Luna; sister Eufrasia Gonzalez of Yancey. The Rosary will be at 7:30 pm Thursday September 9, at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Friday September 10, at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. The pallbearers will be Felipe Gonzales, Juan Gonzales, Efrain Rodriguez, Manuel DeLeon, Jimmy Esquivel, Joseph Luna. Burial will follow in the Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section.
