Ramon B. "Kiko" Villa, Jr., of Hondo passed away Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019. He was 64.

Born Nov. 16, 1954, in Hondo, he was the son of Ramon C. and Orfelina Bernal Villa.

For many years, Kiko had been a radiator technician at Jack Winkler Motors. His dedication to the community  was recognized with several awards through the years he volunteered as a firefighter with Hondo Volunteer Fire Co. Like his dad, he was a talented musician who played several instruments, in mariachi and orchestra.

He is preceded in death by his father and his sister, Linda Villa.

He is survived by his daughter, Valerie Gonzales of Hondo; sons, Ramon F. "Monzie" Villa of Austin and Jason Scott Villa of Hondo; grandchildren, Chelsea Gonzales, Ashlee Gonzales and Roman Tapia; great-granddaughter, Lillian Luz Lopez; brothers, Joe A. Villa, John E. "Johnny" Villa and George (Delia) Villa Sr., all of Hondo; and sister, Ginny (Jackie) Winkler of Corpus Christi.

Visitation from 9 to 9:30 a.m., will be prior to recitation of the Rosary at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Tuesday, Nov. 19. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
