Ramon Constante Lopez, age 81, of Hondo passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at his home surrounded by his family. Born Oct. 1, 1931, in D'Hanis, he was the son of Tomas and Soledad (Constante) Lopez. He was a feed grain mixer at Mumme's for many years. Ramon was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dolores (Abrigo) Lopez; sons, Isidro "Chilo" Lopez and infant Pete Lopez; brothers, Jose Arausa and Guadalupe Martinez; and sister, Amelia Arausa. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Dolores Lopez, Ramon Lopez Jr., Diama and Braulio Isidro, Tommy and Celia Lopez, Josephine and Jose Premutico, Molly Campos and Ben, Jimmy Sr. and Jennifer Lopez, Pete Lopez Sr., and Velinda Perez; 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Incarnacion Lopez and Abel Perez and wife Gloria; sisters, Esther Espinoza and Juana Rodriguez and husband Jesus. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the Guinn-Horger Chapel. Funeral service was at 10 a.m., Wednesday, at Church on the Hill, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section. Pallbearers were John Perez, Mr. Pete, Adam Lopez, Luis Campos, Jamie Perez, Derek Hernandez, and Tommy Garcia.
