Raymond Robert Mumme, Jr., Age 71 years, 10 months, and 17 days, of Bandera, Texas, died on Monday, February 7, 2005. He was born in Hondo, on March 21, 1933, the son of Raymond Robert & Alice Thelma (Geuea) Mumme. Ray is a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean conflict. He attended Barber School an supported his family at that profession for many years. Ray owned and operated many shops in the communities around Hondo and in San Antonio. He was preceded in death by his father; grand daughter Sabrina Helou. Raymond is survived by his mother Alice T. Mumme Hartman; daughters Cindy Helou and husband Jay of San Antonio, Terry Studer and husband Bobby of Uvalde; son Roy Mumme and wife Tina of D'Hanis; daughter Chrie McCue and husband Rick of Arlington; five grandchildren; sisters Dorothy Brieden of Castroville, Jerlean Johnson of San Antonio, Margie Ravkind of Houston. The Funeral Service was at 2:00 pm Thursday, February 10, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home where the services were led by pastor David Mayer.
