Rebecca Torres Cuellar of Sealy, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 18, 2007, at the age of 47. Rebecca was born on November 12, 1960, in Hondo, Texas, the daughter of Jose Roberto & Mary Jo (Rios) Torres. She is preceded in death by her father. Rebecca is survived by her husband, John J. Cuellar of Sealy; son, Francisco Lorenzo Cuellar of Sealy; daughter, Petra Mercedes Cuellar of Sealy; brother, Joe Robert "Bobby" Torres and wife Veronica o Hondo; sister, Paula Marie Torres of Hondo; brothers, John Jeffrey Torres of Hondo, Carlos Ignacio Torres and wife Sandra of Hondo; sister Senida "Sally" Torres of Hondo; mother, Mary Jo Torres of Hondo. The Visitation will be at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 20, 2007, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hondo on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. The Pallbearers were Joey Tapia, Eddy A. Guajardo, Roy Ortega, Steven Tapia, Ray Tapia, Jerry Gonzales. Burial Service will follow at the Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
