Reyes Miranda, age 61, of Hondo passed away Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006, in Hondo. He was born Apr. 29, 1945 in Hondo, son of Domingo Jr. and Maria (Nira) Miranda, who precede him in death. He is survived by brothers, Reynaldo Miranda and wife Elva and Saturnino Miranda; sister, Linda Alvarez and husband Tony; and nine nephews and nieces. Rosary was recited at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, followed by the Funeral Mass, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, with Rev. Jeff Pehl officiating. The pallbearers were Paul Robles, Ramiro Miranda, Mark A. Alvarez, Joshua M. Miradna, Jacob Miranda, Erasmo Trinidad. Interment will be at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
