Reymundo Gomez Jr., age 45, of Hondo passed away Friday, Oct. 17, 2008. He was born Nov. 20, 1962, in D'Hanis, the son of Reymundo Sr. and Genoveva (Sanchez) Gomez. He was formerly a forklift operator at D'Hanis Brick and Tile. He was preceded in death by his mother; brothers, David Conde and Albert Conde, and sisters, Estella Contreras and Lupita Conde. Reymundo is survived by his father; daughter, Jessica Gomez; grandson, Dorian Ray Guerra; and brothers, Mickey Conde and Armando Hernandez, all of Hondo. Rosary will be recited Monday, Oct. 20, 7 p.m., at Guinn-Horger Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, Oct. 21, 11 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section. The pallbearers were Jimmy P. Sanchez, Sammy Joe Sanchez, Ray Gomez, Richard Camacho, Randy Gomez, Gustavo Gomez.
