Reymundo Gonzales Trinidad, age 91, of Hondo passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, in Arlington. Born Sept. 7, 1921, in Poth, he was the son of Mauricio and Rita (Gonzales) Trinidad. He worked for Chapman Grain for more than 50 years. Reymundo was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Cruz (Rodriguez) Trinidad in 1970; his brothers, Encarnacion and Tito; and sisters, Francisca Garcia and Ignacia Castro. Survivors are his wife, Alifonsa Resendez of Hondo; son, Raul Trinidad and wife Esmeralda of Hondo; daughters, Enedina Valenzuela and husband Joe of Arlington and Mary Rose Trinidad and husband Ernest Sanchez of San Antonio; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., with Rosary recited at 7 p.m., Thursday, (today), at the Guinn-Horger Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Friday, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section.
