Robert S. "Bud" Bendele of Canyon Lake, Texas, passed away November 8, 2005, at the age of 79. He was born July 5, 1926, in Hondo, the son of Robert Alfred & Nora Josephine (Schuehle) Bendele. He was preceded in death by his wife Armella H. (Schilling) Bendele. Bud is survived by his daughter Donna Jo Luthe and husband Curtis of Navasota; sons George R. Bendele and wife Patty of Florence, Robert A. Bendele of Hondo, Bill B. Bendele of Hondo; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; sisters Frances Sparks and husband O.W. of Hondo, Nora A. Hubble and husband Buddy of Medina. The Memorial Service, officiated by Pastor David Mayer, will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday November 14, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home in Hondo.
