Robert William Bratton passed into the arms of his Lord and Savior on November 25, 2020. He was 85.

Robert was born April 19, 1935, achieving the rank of staff sergeant. Robert and Peggy settled in Victoria, Texas to raise their five children.

On February 11, 1968, Robert became an ordained minister. He served as minister to Union Valley Baptist Church in Nixon, Texas from 1968 to 1969. He was then called to Weidner Road Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas where he served for 37 years until he retired in October 2006.

Robert is predeceased by his parents, Clyde and Gladys Bratton; brothers, Donald Lee Bratton, Franklin Bratton; and his daughter Pamela Bratton Carlucci.

He is survived by his wife Peggy, daughter Anne Marie, sons Richard, James Robert, Nathan; six grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 28, at Guinn-Horger Chapel, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
