Robert James Carlson of Hondo passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 12, 2024. He was 44 years old.

Born on September 24, 1979, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Robert was a man of honor and integrity, qualities that he carried into every aspect of his life. Robert dedicated 11 years of his life to serving our nation in the US Air Force, embodying the values of courage, commitment, and community. After serving in the Air Force, he returned home to focus on what mattered most to him - his family. Robert was a pillar in his community, always ready with a helping hand or a word of support.

Robert "Rob" is survived by his devoted wife, Stacy (Titlebaum) Carlson; his loving children, Lily Carlson of La Vista NE, Tyler Walker of San Antonio TX, and Autumn Carlson of Hondo TX; his parents, Harold and Nancy (Cole) Carlson of Bellevue NE; his brothers, Kenny Carlson and his wife Sara (Mickelsen) of Lincoln NE, and Wayne Carlson and his wife Julianne of La Vista NE. His extended family includes his sister-in-law, Dasha Titlebaum and her partner Derek Evans of Golden CO; mother-in-law, Marilyn and her husband Stuart Kawadler of Foxboro MA; father-in-law, Joseph Titlebaum and his wife Kimberly Patterson of Port Aransas TX; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

His family and friends will gather privately to celebrate his life on Saturday, April 20.
