Robert Alton Faseler was born December 15, 1913 in Yancey, Texas. He passed away at home on July 1, 2003, at the age of 89, five months, and 16 days. Robert was preceded in death by his parents: Louis Frank & Bertha Christina (Spellman) Faseler; wife::Dora Mae (McAnelly) Faseler; brothers: Walter Leonard Faseler, Glenn Elmer Faseler, Rubin Leroy Faseler; sisters:Mabel Leona Brantley, Beulah Helen Coers, Ima Hazel Meadows.. He is survived by his sons: Herbert L. Faseler and wife Marilyn of Hondo, Clyde A. Faseler and wife Sharon of Hondo; daughters: Roberta A. Neumann and husband Donald of Waco, Claudia J. Long and husband Gale of Hondo, Lorine Hackebeil and husband Steve of Hondo; brothers: Homer F. Faseler of San Antonio, M. Clinton Faseler of OK; sisters: Frances Wegner of Seguin, E. Ethel Hensley of Waco, and Esther L. Huff of Seguin, 17 grand children, and 29 great grand children. Visitation will be at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.time on Thursday July 3. The Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday July 4, at First United Methodist Church of Hondo. Interment will follow in Yancey Cemetery.
