Robert Anthony Flores, 48, of Hondo went to be with the Lord on Monday, Mar. 15, 2021.

Born Jan. 15, 1973, in Hondo, he was the son of Jesus Roberto and Rose Rodriguez Flores.

Anthony was a 1991 graduate of Hondo High School where he enjoyed athletics, having played football and basketball. He was a carpenter, a disc jockey, and also earned an Associate degree  as a phlebotomist.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Onesimo Flores, Jose and Teodora Rodriguez and Herman and Lupe Salazar.

He is survived by his parents; his son, Gilbert Anthony Flores of Devine; grandchildren, Adrian, Kendall, Zailyn and Brooklyn; and sister, Monica (Edward) Andreozzi of Hondo.

Visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. will be Friday, Mar. 19, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited at 2 p.m., followed by the Funeral Mass at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
