Robert L. Ward (Bobby) passed away on Wednesday, January 22nd 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born October 24, 1940 in Yancey, Texas.

He is survived by his wife Mary (Shorty) Ward, children Robin Ward Wilburn and husband Ray, son Jeffrey Ward and wife Debbie, son Joe Ward and wife Heather, step son Chad Elder and wife Anna, sister Susie Ward Haass  and Patsy Ward Ulbrich and brother in law Pete.

He is preceded in death by his parents Robert & Ina Ward, sister Mary Lou Ward Cameron and husband George, brother in law RL Haass, brother Steve Ward and daughter Lori Ward Gibbs. He had 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 1, at New Fountain United Methodist Church. Private interment at Yancey Cemetery will be at a later date.
