Robert Wayne (Robbie) McGill of Hondo, 66, passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2018. Born May 3, 1952, in Fairfield CA, he was the son of Robert and Angeline Ruez McGill. McGill served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict and retired as a Staff Sergeant after 20 years. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Steve McGill. He is survived by his daughters, Kelly McGill of River Ridge LA and Katie Jones of Huntsville AL grandson, Justin Lee McGill of Huntsville AL; and brothers, David McGill of Iowa and Rodger McGill of Las Vegas, Nevada. Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service with military honors will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019, at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
