Robert Allen "Scooter" Boehle of Dallas passed away Thursday, June 28, 2024. He was 64.

Born Dec. 1, 1959, in Kerrville, he was the grandson of Roy and Frances Lanford Boehle, who adopted and raised him as their own in Quihi. They preceded him in death. Scooter attended Hondo schools.

A truck driver for much of his life, he accumulated many friends, acquaintances, and stories.

Those who knew Scooter best, knew him as a gregarious and enigmatic man who was full of life. He enjoyed telling the stories about his life on the road, the good times and memories with friends back home, and shared a close relationship with his family.

He is survived by his family: his wife, Diane Boehle; step-granddaughter, Briana Wall; son, Roy Thomas Echtle; and extended family, Bobby A. Boehle, Catherine McCarty, Rita Lawson and Ruby Kay "Honey" Vittoe. Along with numerous friends and relations made throughout the years.
