Robert L. "Bob" Simpson, age 60, of Castroville passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010. He was born Feb. 27, 1950, in Hico, the son of Robert Thomas and Zonell E. (Funk) Simpson. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam War and worked many years as a water well pump salesman. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Rebecca Nell Martin. Survivors are his wife, Linda Gail (Tipton) Simpson; sons, Robert Benjamin Simpson and wife Adriana and Raymond Trent Simpson and Amanda Riley; granddaughters, Austyn Paige and Alyssa Brooke Simpson; and many beloved family members and friends. Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, at Hondo Church of Christ. Services will conclude at the church.
