Roland H. Nester of San Antonio, 73, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018. Born July 23, 1945, in San Antonio, he was the son of Raymond Herbert Nester and Vivian Jones Nester, who preceded him in death. A skilled taxidermist by trade, Roland was an avid outdoorsman. He served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. Left to remember him are his lifelong friend, David (Beverly) Lutz of D'Hanis; his caregiver and friend, Debbie Powell and her family; and extended family and friends.
