Ronald James "Ronnie" McGuffin, age 56, passed away, May 1, 2005. He was born in San Antonio, on April 18, 1949, the son of Allen F. "Mac" & Isabel (Engel) McGuffin. Ronnie was a special child and adult and attended the Medina County Association for Exceptional Citizens workshop for over 40 years. He is survived by his parents, brother David McGuffin and wife Phyllis of Hondo, nephew Chad McGuffin, Nieces; Amy McGuffin and Katie McGuffin, Great nephew Garrett Wiemers. The Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and Funeral Mass will be at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, May 4 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. The pallbearers will be Chad McGuffin, Stanley Jones, Jerry McGuffin, Andrew Cobb, Luther McGuffin, Larry McGuffin. Burial will be 4:00 P.M. at the St. Josephs Honey Creek Cemetery, 15 miles East of Boerne on Highway 46.
