Rosalie Flory Richter of San Antonio, 91, passed away Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, in Houston.

Born in San Antonio, Oct. 11, 1929, she was the daughter of Henry E. Flory and Alma Elizabeth Beck Flory.

Rosalie was a devoted wife and mother. Kind, generous and outgoing, she never met a stranger. She enjoyed playing cards and dominos.

A devout and faithful Catholic, Rosalie was a member of St. Matthew's and St. Luke's Catholic Church Altar Societies. She volunteered with Santa Rosa Gift Shop and at St. Luke's Elementary School.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Vincent Richter; son, Thomas  H. "Tom" Richter; grandson, Thomas Hunter Richter; brother, Kenneth Flory; and daughter-in-law, Mary Bosiljevac Richter.

Survivors include her son, John Richter; daughter-in-law, Jerrianne Biry Richter; grandchildren, Megan (Jeff) Rodriguez, Matt (Shaunna) Richter and Marci (Randy) Mendoza; and great-grandchildren, Cannon Rodriguez, Jayden and Olivia Richter, and Sophia and Mila Mendoza.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 17, at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and celebration of the Mass at 11:00, all at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hondo. Interment will follow at Hondo Cemetery, St. John Section.
