Our beloved Rosemary Kramer Neyland of Yancey, 90, left us to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018. Born in San Antonio, July 28, 1928, she was the daughter of Joseph and Rosie Kramer. Rosemary was a military wife for 22 years and became adept at making a home for her family, no matter what location or financial circumstances, Later they began farm life in South Texas, living in Natalia, San Antonio, and finally, on their farm at Yancey. She was proud of their Bohemian ancestry. Her family emigrated from Chechezslovakia and arrived by ship at Galveston to begin their new lives as farmers in this country. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 67 years, Ray Orlanda Neyland; sons, Eugene L. and Ray Neyland Jr.; daughter, Pauline D. "Polly" Neyland; and sister, Mary Ann Zimmerman. Left to cherish her memory are son, Alton (Pamela) Neyland of Benbrook; daughters, Diane Schroeder of Yancey, Sharon (Chuck) Woodward of Boerne, and Bernadine (Freddy) Rihn of Yancey; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 26, 5 to 7 p.m., at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 21, 2 p.m., at the Guinn-Horger Chapel, followed by interment at San Fernando #2 Cemetery, 746 Castroville Road, San Antonio TX 78237.
