Rosie Meneses Cameron of Hondo passed away Friday, March 3, 2023, at the age of 57.

Born in Kerrville, Jan. 28, 1966, she was the daughter of Manuel Avila Meneses and Juana Carrera Saucedo Meneses. She and George Cameron were married Feb. 5, 1988.

Very outgoing and a hard worker, Rosie loved to help her family and friends and anyone in need, often helping other before helping herself.

Rosie was the foundation of her family, a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She has five children and seven grandchildren whom she loved very much: Eric Estrada (Kaylee), Crystal Cameron (Kiara, MacKenzie, Edgar, William, Sebastian), Scott Cameron, Tiffany Cameron, Samuel Cameron (Rylei).

She will be deeply missed by her mother, Juana; her husband of 35 years, George Cameron; her children, grandchildren, family and dearest friends; sisters, Barbara Roberts and Dolores Cordova; brother-in-law, Miguel; and her brother, Marcos Meneses.

Rosie was preceded in death by her father, Manuel; brother, Richard Meneses; aunt, Amparo Carrera; brother-in-law, Alexander Cameron; mother-in-law, Joyce Cameron; and father-in-law, James Cameron.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 11, 9:30 a.m.

The service location has been moved to Cowboy Country Church D'Hanis, 7360 County Road 525, D'Hanis TX 78850, next to the D'Hanis Post Office.
