Roy Everett Lewis II, age 70, of Hondo passed away Friday, Feb. 11th, 2011. He was born July 26th, 1940, in Gulfport, MS, the son of Guy Charles and Frances (Wilcoxen) Lewis. He was an industrial contractor and an avid hunter and fisherman. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son, Roy Lewis III and his wife Vicki Lynn Lewis of Hondo; daughter, Rebecca Elizabeth Henry of Pleasanton; daughter, Laura Garcia of Corinth; sister, Sally L. Bouchard of San Antonio; brother, Guy Charles Lewis of Gulfport; grandchildren are Rhandee Elizabeth, Zachary Earl and Rhody Albert Lewis; Quinten James and Colten Dean Henry of Pleasanton; Brian, Whitney and Garrett Garcia, along with great-grandchild, Jaydon Garcia of Corinth. A visitation gathering will be held on Friday, Feb. 18th, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Guinn-Horger Chapel. There will not be a formal service. The family suggests memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, the American Cancer Society, or the charity of one's choice. Dad, We want you to know, even though you might not be here with us physically, your presence will always warm our hearts. We would love to Thank You for everything you are to us, for everything you have done for us, as well as every wonderful thing you will continue to show us through your spirit. You never met a stranger only friends. You will be dearly missed but never forgotten! Your memory will live on forever in our hearts! We all will miss you and will love you forever!
