Ruby Christene Williams of Hondo, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 30, 2008, at the age of 96 years. Ruby was born on January 21, 1912, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the daughter of Norman & Sally (Murphy) Riggs. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Olin J. Williams; son, Monte P. Williams; granddaughter, Theresa Zerr Smith. Ruby is survived by her sons, O. Jay Williams of Bakersfield, CA, Bill Williams and wife Judy of Hondo; daughters, Jean Zerr and husband Dennis H. of Hondo, Nita Zerr of Hondo; 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren. The Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 31, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 1, at the First Baptist Church of Hondo. The Casketcarriers were: Bob Zerr, Steve Zerr, H. Zerr, Mike Zerr, Father Dennis Zerr, Cody Williams. Burial will follow at the Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
