Saebel Freddy Saebel of Bandera passed away Monday, Apr. 20, 2020, with his wife by his side. He was 79.

Born Apr. 11, 1941, in Haderslev, Danmark, he was the son of Louis Hansen and Elizabeth Nielsen Hansen.

Freddy proudly served in the Danish Navy and had a career as a Certified Danish Baker.

He loved dancing, with his smooth moves on the floor. He really enjoyed solving the world's problems with the rest of the guys in Arkey's, and living in his own little slice of Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Alice E. Ragan-Saebel of Bandera; son, Jose Rivera of California; daughter, Camilla Saebel of Danmark; two grandchildren; brothers, Erik Højby Hansen and Gerit Hansen; and sister,  Vivian Højby.

Memorial will  be held at a later date.
