Santos Maria Urrabazo Rodriguez, age 90 of D'Hanis, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2006 in San Antonio. Mrs. Rodriguez was born in D'Hanis on April 21, 1916, the second child of Jose Maria and Juanita Rodriguez Urrabazo, both of whom preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her husband Nicolas Rodriguez, son Eduardo, and infant son Luis. Out of fifteen children, she is survived by five daughters, eight sons and their families which include thirty-three grandchildren and twenty -six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters and two brothers, their families and numerous other relatives. Visitation will be at Guinn Horger Funeral Home, 2006 Ave M, Hondo, on Wednesday, June 28 from 5:00 to 6:00 pm with Rosary to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Church, D'Hanis, at 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be Thursday, June 29 at 10:00 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, with interment at San Francisco Cemetry, D'Hanis. The pallbearers were Polo Rodriguez, Ramon Rodriguez, Albert Rodriguez, Daniel Rodriguez, Manuel Rodriguez, William Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez, Louis Rodriguez. In lieu of flowers, the family requests Mass Offerings or contributions to a charity of choice in her name.
