Saragosa Olivares Rendon of Hondo passed away Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022, at the age of 95.

Born in Hondo, Oct. 5, 1926, Sara was the daughter of Antonio and Narcisa Rocha Olivares.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Esteban Rendon; son, Arturo Rendon; sisters, San Juanita and Amelia; and brothers, Leonardo and Roberto.

Survivors include daughters, Delia Sanchez (David), Josie Rendon, and Yolanda Escamilla (Martin); daughter-in-law, Gloria Rendon; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 28, 9:30 a.m., with Rosary at 10:00 a.m. and Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hondo, Interment will be at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.

Pallbearers are Ray Rendon, Juan Rendon, Johnny Rendon, Bobby Rendon, Enrique Piedra and Eufrasio Castillo.
