After a long illness our mother Sarah Rohrbach went to be with the Lord & Savior on January 23, 2005. she was born to Leonard and Jane (Koch) Robinson on June 9, 1916 and has lived here all her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, our dad Casper Rohrbach, her sister Lucille Vogel and brother-in-law Henry Vogel. She is survived by her three daughters Jenalee Scott of Austin, Patsy Lazenby and husband Bill of Beeville, Shirley Rodriguez of Hondo. She was blessed with five grandchildren Cheryl Poinsett, and husband Bill, Duane O'Neill and wife Kay, Darren Lazenby, John Rodriguez, Christal Guill and husband Corky and four great grandchildren Cheri Craig, Cody O'Neill, Jon Rodriguez and Shay Guill and numerous nieces and nephews.Sarah was well known in the community for her ironing, alterations and her quilting. The Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Guinn-Horger Chapel in Hondo Wednesday January 26, 2005. The Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hondo Thursday January 27, 2005, at 2:00 pm. The Funeral Mass was led by Fr. Jeff Pehl. The pallbearers will be John Rodriguez, Duane O'Neill, Rick Rohrbach, John Paul Rohrbach, Tony Sauceda, George Russell Proctor. Burial will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery in D'hanis.
