Sulema B. DeLeon born on July 9, 1932 went to be with the Lord on March 25, 2009 at the age of 76. She is preceded in death by her parents Esteban and Ursula Bernal, beloved husband Ernesto P. DeLeon, daughter Delia DeLeon, and brother Esteban Bernal Jr. Survivors include her loving children Ernest C. DeLeon, Richard DeLeon, Lucero Villarreal, Sylvia Gutierrez, Sonia Martinez, and Ruben DeLeon, siblings Odelia Perez, Orfelina Villa, Amparo Alvarez, and Gerardo Bernal, 16 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Visitation will begin on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Brookehill Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, March 30, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with a procession from the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park South.
