Sylvia Q. Constante of Hondo, Texas, passed away March 18, 2006, at the age of 51, in San Antonio. She was born April 21, 1954, in Hondo, the daughter of Alejos & Juanita (Tapia) Quintanilla. She was preceded in death by her parents. Sylvia is survived by her husband Trinidad Constante, Jr.; son Daniel Constante of Hondo; daughters Erica Constante of Hondo, Donna Velasquez of Hondo, Danet Constante of Hondo; son Eric Constante of Hondo; daughter Nancy Pantoja and husband Jacob of San Antonio; nine grandchildren; brothers Alejos Quintanilla, Jr. and wife Estella of Hondo, Emilio Quintanilla and wife Esperanza of Hondo, Rudy Quintanilla and wife Isabel of Hondo, Eric Quintanilla and wife Alysha of Lytle; sisters Gloria Sanchez and husband Jose O. of Hondo, Sulema Fernandez and husband Ricky of Bandera, Letica Gauna and husband Juan of Kerrville. The Rosary was at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and the Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr Jeff Pehl, was at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday March 22, at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hondo. The pallbearers were Armando Fuentez, Jr., Eric Quintanilla, Rene Salazar, Jeffrey Sanchez, Gary Salazar, Eugene Fernandez, Ermilio Quintanilla, Jr. Interment will follow in the Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
