Sylvia Marie Mueller of D'Hanis, Texas, passed away March 2, 2006, at the age of 93, in San Antonio. She was born October 31, 1912, in D'Hanis, the daughter of Oscar William and Della (Boog) Tondre. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Joseph Arthur Mueller; son-in-law John Jerome Ney; brother Charles C. Tondre. Sylvia is survived by her daughter Janet Margaret Ney of D'Hanis / San Antonio; grandson Vincent Ney of San Antonio, granddaughter Shelley Gilliam and husband Tim of Midland; great grandchildren Ashley Nicole Gilliam, Brittany Michelle Gilliam, Daniel Lee Gilliam; brother John P. Tondre, Sr. of D'Hanis. The Rosary will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 6, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church and the Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr Wallis Stiles, will be at 2:45 p.m. Monday March 6, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in D'Hanis. The pallbearers were Charles A. Tondre, Robert C. Graff, Freddie Graff, Doug Mercer, David S. Mercer, John P. Tondre, Jr. Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery in D'Hanis.
