Teresa Gaitan Trujillo of Converse, 76, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017. Born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, Oct. 15, 1940, she was the daughter of Priscilliano and Maria Escobar Gaitan. Teresa was a dedicated and loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Minerva Gaitan. Survivors include her husband, Rogelio Trujillo; daughter, Sonia Teresa Trujillo of Converse; son, Rogelio (Lorraine) Trujillo Jr. of Albuquerque NM; brothers, Priscillano E. (Edna) Gaitan Jr., Francisco Gaitan, Roberto (Dora) Gaitan, Ernesto (Delia) Gaitan, all of Hondo, and Reynaldo (Guadalupe) Gaitan of San Antonio; and sisters, Guillermia (Raul) Esparza and Ruth (Abel) Ramirez, all of San Antonio. Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 9, 12 to 2 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. at the Guinn-Horger Chapel in Hondo,. Interment will be at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
