Therese Mary "Terry" Ryan Angermiller of Hondo, 77, lost her battle with cancer Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019.

Born in Stowmarket, Suffolk, England, Dec. 14, 1941, she was the daughter of Henry Patrick and Evelyn May Hill Ryan.

Terry graduated from Farlingaye School and Civic College in Ipswick where she trained to be a secretary.

She met her husband at the USAF Bentwaters Air Base in England, where she was secretary to Colonel Gordon Steele. They were married Dec. 18, 1965, at First United Methodist Church in Hondo.They reared their family in Hondo and she retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as the warden's secretary.

She loved reading, ballet and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her mother-in-law, Eselda "Sally" Angermiller.

Survivors include her husband, Roy Lee "Pete" Angermiller; son, Ryan Angermiller; daughter, Sally Paige Angermiller; granddaughter, Chloe Angermiller, all of Hondo; brothers, Michael Ryan and Christopher (Vanessa) Ryan; sister, Cathy Ryan; and nieces, Hannah Black and Katie Ryan, all of England.

Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 18, from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at First United Methodist Church in Hondo, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.

The family suggests memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
