Thomas Decalb Morrel IV, age 58, of San Antonio went home in the everlasting arms of his Lord and Saviour on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009. Tom was born Sept. 25, 1950, in Torrance, CA. A Master Plumber for 37 years, Tom was loved by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his son, Thomas Decalb Morrel IV; grandfather, Robert Lee Barnes; and grandparents, Paulette and Thomas Decalb Morrel II. He was loved and adored by his wife of 38 years, Rachel (Dorsey) Morrel and his daughter, Tandilyn Morrel of San Antonio. He is also survived by his parents, Thomas Decalb III and Patricia (Barnes) Morrel of Willard, MO; grandmother, Ellen Barnes of Bolivar, MO; and sister, Kay Ellen Morrel of Irvine, CA. Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section. The whole family praises the Lord for the assurance of Tom's salvation and looks forward someday to a happy reunion in heaven. What a wonderful Lord we serve!
